Since returning from her record-breaking expedition to become the first woman to cross Antarctica entirely alone, Felicity Aston has been busy giving inspiring presentations up and down the UK.  People are fascinated to hear about what it takes to drag 85kg day after day across the endless ice across the equivalent distance from London to Rome.

As well as captivating the interest of the world’s media, Felicity’s story has some highly relevant lessons for business, as a leading credit card company discovered when she visited them last month.

Sarah Outen ready to row the Pacific

Sarah Outen MBE is about to set off on the third leg of her London2London via the World expedition. 

Sarah began her attempt to loop the globe by bike, kayak and boat on April 1st last year.  The 26-year-old adventurer has so far kayaked across the English Channel, cycled across Europe and China and kayaked from Russia to Japan, a journey of 11,000 miles all under her own steam.

Kenton Cool honours olympic pledge with tenth Everest summit bid

A few weeks ago, Kenton Cool left his home in Gloucestershire heading for the Himalayas.  This is pretty routine for the internationally acclaimed mountain guide, who makes his living leading clients to the summit of the highest mountains in the world.  But this time instead of clients, Kenton will be honouring an olympic pledge by taking a gold medal awarded to a member of the 1922 British Everest Expedition to the summit of this iconic mountain.
