Felicity Aston, polar explorer

Felicity Aston

The first woman in history to ski solo across the entire Antarctic continent. Led the 2009 Kaspersky Lab Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition, the largest and most international women’s team ever to ski to the South Pole. Also raced in the Canadian Arctic, led a team of women across the inland ice of Greenland, skied along a frozen river in Siberia and spent three years living and working in the Antarctic. Felicity is an accessible, engaging and challenging speaker.

Record-breaking polar explorer who became the fastest person ever to trek to the South Pole, solo and unaided in December 2006. Completing her polar expedition in just 39 days, 9 hours and 33 minutes, Hannah broke the world record (beating both men and women) for the fastest solo, unsupported journey. A natural and engaging speaker with stunning images from the Polar environment.
