DAMIAN HALL - Ultrarunner
Damian Hall is a record-breaking ultramarathon runner who represented Great Britain aged 40 and in his early 50s continues to record competitive results in the world’s toughest races, including the Barkley Marathons. He has won the 268-mile Winter Spine Race, 100-mile races and placed 5th at trail running's de facto world championships, UTMB. As well as setting records/Fastest Known Times on the Pennine Way, South West Coast Path, Wainwright's Coast to Coast and other long-distance trails and challenges, sometimes solo and in winter.
The tea addict has featured in several, award-winning films, in books and the national media and the former journalist has written three books about running, two bestselling, one award-nominated. His latest is Run Forever (2026), about how to age optimally as an athlete.
The father of two is also become a climate activist, a co-founder of The Green Runners and the charity, Into Ultra.
Damian loves telling inspiring stories with humour and key takeaways from endurance sport that will improve performance and mindset in all aspects of life.
