Dr Sabrina Pace-HumphreysUltrarunner

Dr Sabrina Pace-Humphreys is an ultrarunner, author and social justice activist whose work sits at the intersection of endurance, leadership and systemic change.

A mother of four and grandmother of three, Sabrina came to running in 2009 while navigating severe post-natal depression. What began as a personal coping strategy evolved into a transformative journey through some of the world’s toughest endurance challenges and ultimately into national leadership within the outdoor sector.

She has completed the 250km Marathon des Sables across the Sahara Desert and the 268 mile Spine Race non stop along the Pennine Way, widely regarded as Britain’s most brutal ultramarathon. These experiences in extreme environments have shaped her philosophy of resilience, preparation, courage and collective responsibility.

Sabrina is co founder of Black Trail Runners, the UK charity driving systemic change in diversity and inclusion within the outdoors through trail running. Under her leadership, the organisation has built a powerful community, challenged industry norms and influenced the national conversation around representation, access and belonging in the natural environment.

Her keynote talks are rooted in lived experience and are honest, compelling and deeply human. Drawing on endurance sport, activism and leadership, Sabrina explores resilience under pressure, mental health, vulnerability and the courage required to lead meaningful change. She challenges audiences to confront barriers, navigate uncertainty and create cultures where people and performance thrive.

Whether addressing global brands, financial institutions, public bodies or outdoor festivals, Sabrina brings clarity, warmth and conviction to every stage.

Sabrina was an inspiring speaker who truly connected with the audience… Her ability to weave our key messages seamlessly and authentically into her own story was impressive… A pleasure to work with, flexible, open to feedback and fully engaged. I would highly recommend her.

An inspiring keynote… Her energy and authentic storytelling encouraged people to reflect on their own role in creating change, with conversations continuing long after the event ended… Compelling, meaningful and motivating.
